Any trim overlays for the 2007 G35 yet?

One thing that I disliked, hated almost, about the 03-06 G (wow, just realized the model only lasted 4 years for the sedan) was the awful interior. The 2007 is an improvement, but very mild, the look still reminds of the previous model's. I was hoping that someone would release a trim overlay to cover up the silver/aluminum part of the console. I'd like something in a dark gray, i'm going to try to photoshop it to see if it's going to look like what i'd imagine. Other than the interior, the G35 totally rocks

You can find kits here...

2007 G35 Wood Kits

They look like this...

Personally, I think the aluminum is so much cooler, but to each his own...

^^^ YUP, my dealer has a custom dealer-installed wood package similar to the one above.

Hmmmm.....great idea, but IMO that's TOO much wood. If I were to do something like that I'd get that ash burl (dark gray wood color) and only use it on the parts that are aluminum from the factory.

I used to feel the same way about the Aluminum and wanted wood, but I think it's grown on me. I think it gives the G35S a more "sport" feel.

Geesh. Agreed - too much wood.
Kind reminds me of the "Terracotta Car" on an old Saturday Night Live Sketch.
Made completely of... I think you get the idea.
