I doubt you'd be able to drift the auto as well as the manual.
+1 It's great that they offer this car in the manual. Nothing like a manual for total control..

I'll gladly settle for a "GT"

The G Sedan is a sports sedan, it is however, not a sports car. I had a 06 STi, now that car was as close to a production sports car as you could get. 3300 Lbs. AWD, 6 speed and no auto offered. Off the line there isn't a faster car, maybe an Evo. 300 HP and touque. A lot of people would say "300 HP, is that all it has". Take into consideration the weight and AWD, all the touque is put to the ground with no wheel spin. I would race CTS-V's SRT-8's, with big V-8's and take them from the jump and it was over. The ride was horrible, the seats where cloth and not very comfortable and the road noise was very bad, no insulation at all. What ever would save weight, that's what was done. You could take that car right to the track, all you would really have to do is change your tires.

The G is not that type of sports car and I'm happy about that. I want something in the middle more towards sporty comfort. I had a race car and really don't want another. I love the looks of the G, the interior, the ride and the quiet cabin. I love the STi to race around with, but that's it. The G will do everything else. I love manuals, however, a good auto can also be very enjoyable.

i like just about everything on the sedan, looks great, interior is nicely done, very luxury yet a tad on the sport side. this is why im even condition gettin the sedan. i have an auto coupe and it just isnt as fun as the manual. i dont drift, track , race but i do however like to have fun with the car once in a while. auto just doesnt do it for me when it comes time to have fun.
maybe some 6mt owners can chime in.

btw anyone have any thoughts on the saturn sky? looks pretty nice and 260hp turbo for 30k is not a bad price, but its still a saturn . i test drove the solstice and i was pretty impress but it was an auto. just a thought, still deciding which car is best for me right now.

Being in Michigan where I see plenty of American cars, I can comment on this. When the sky first came out, it draw lots of attention. I remember seeing one on the street outside of my shop and thinking that Saturn may have a good one on their hands (save for the Aura). People walked by and commented, "That's a nice car! It's a Saturn?!?!". So has far as design, it looked promising. I've never driven one so I can't comment on its ride quality, etc..

I consider it a sports car, even though strictly speaking, it may not be.

From the driver's seat, how much different is the experience from a 350Z?

Can you find the G35 from these links?

It may not be on this link, but are there cars on this page that the G35 coud outperform?
