Just trying to get a feel for any interest in aftermarket sway bars for the 07 sedan. Anyone besides me?

I only ask because one company I talked to said they didn't sell as much as they wanted for the earlier sedan so nothing planned yet for them. Another company said they would have a set out in about 2 weeks. I was just curious to what the demand would be. Maybe I could set up a group buy.

The stillen group buy for my 2005 was the best money I ever spent on the G and never regretted it for a second. It leaned a lot in stock form.

I'm not sure this car will need new front and rear, I think it may just need a beefier rear sway bar to reduce body roll - the front bar is pretty big from the factory.

With that said this is the one mod I am 100% serious about doing. It made such a difference on my Acura, I regretted waiting as long as I did to do it!

I have yet to push it at 10/10ths, but the 07 G doesn't have much discernible lean (sport at least). In my opinion, it has a better set up for the suspension that my old STi with mac struts.

wow, i feel the exact opposite. my old wrx leaned way less than the g (sport), but then again i did have an aftermarket sway bar on the wrx...hence my interest in this thread

I was looking at the pics of the underbody in this thread ...

https://g35driver.com/forums/intake-exhaust/143470-yes-finally-its-here-stillen-exhaust.html

That rear sway bar is one of the thickest stock sway bars I've ever seen. Maybe aftermarket bars won't make much of a difference after all.

I'm pretty sure the non-S models don't use that big of a bar, I've had my G on a lift a few times and thought it was quite a bit smaller in diameter. The bar in that picture looks to be about 21mm I thought the X anti-sway bar was closer to 16 or 17mm

I made a kind of confusing comment which is my fault. The STi doesn't really role much either, but IMO its SUSPENSION in general is inferior.

My old WRX wagon rolled a lot though even with the sedan sway bar in it.

I just measured and I was off, the stock rear sway bar on the G35X is 15mm, so a 20-22mm rear bar would be the answer.

Sorry for the resurrection.

FYI on the Sport, the front bar is 26.5mm, the rear bar is 24.3mm. I just measured both with calipers.
