I've got this too on my 08 Journey. I had the trunk liner out yesterday and spent an hr trying to remedy it. Seems to be the seat belt pockets and can be heard while tapping on the back shelf or while driving on an road with slight unjulations (sp).
Anybody figure it out?

I had the same problem. Took it to the dealer and they said it was a loose screw. I'm not sure which one but it was either a screw on the amp or a seatbelt screw. I recommend taking it in and have the dealer figure it out

Was the problem resolved? Anyone else have this problem I am now at 17K and it has been driving me nuts, I think i am going to try and fix it myself this weekend, now that the weather is a little more mild.

I've spent the last couple weeks sound deadening my car and you wouldn't believe what a difference it makes. First off, my car hasn't had many random rattles but when playing loud music (especially with a lot of bass), the door panels and sub grills would rattle significantly. Just the process of going through and applying some RAAMmat has made almost all of those rattles go away.

I would suggest that if you have a specific rattle, buy a small Dynamat (or similar) kit and apply some of the material to that area. I'd bet it solves the issue for you. If you have more rattles, consider doing the whole car. I choose RAAMmat because it comes in 62.5 sqft rolls and I'm hitting almost everything. I think it's a great investment.

Anybody ever come up with an update to this? I don't think dynomat will work as the noise is coming from the finished side of the seat belt mechanism.
