I'm a little upset.didn't know the 08 coupes were going to have 3.7L!

Hmm, M34 -> M45 = ~$6k (comparing sport models).

So, if the G35 starts at $34k, a G45 could conceivably start at $40k.
Sounds like that would end all comparisons to the $40k 335i

Besides, a car as heavy as the G could always use more torque. And, it looks to add 120# to the car, so that would make it roughly 3650# (using new sedan weight) with 325hp/336tq (using M45 specs), with room to grow. Not bad specs at all.

That might be worth it in my book. Though, I would probably prefer a GT-R derived engine that could handle boost if I was to pay $40k.
