Active Steering

Did anyone test drive a G35 with this option? In Canada its an exclusive option that prevents you from ordering the navi or tech packages. Just curious because although a few magazine have mentioned it existence, no one seems to have tried it. I'm surprised that Infiniti did include it for the magazines to try and give themselves an edge on handling.

I have it on my car I love it. I have the Navi and tech packages as well, are you sure that you can't get that? I do know it's ONLY available on the sport.

It doesn't prevent you from ordering the nav and Tech packages. You can oder just the Nav or both the Nav/Tech packages. What you can't do is order the Active steering only without the getting both Nav/Tech packages.

In Canada, if you want the Active Steer, you can't get NAV/TECH which really sucks for ppl who really want the whole pckg. over here.

that's odd. i just got in today a ivory pearl/ graphite premium navigation rear active steer car. ... looks great and the new rear active steer system is different from the others ni the G35 Coupe and M35/M45 sport...

Well that's Canada for you...what also sucks is that the IP on the G35 does NOT come with a graphite interior! It only comes with a Stone Interior...ugh i really had my heart set on a IP w/graphite . Oh well, going to the dealer tomorrow with my parents to see the G again and maybe talk some numbers.

I have the 4WAS with Premium and NAV, but not the tech package. I like it, but if I were forced to choose between NAV+Tech versus 4WAS, I'd take the NAV+Tech.
