I've seen pictures of it in blue, but mine is a gray/orange.

Thanks,
Chris

Yes, it's under the "display" option in settings.

Yep, I checked again and it just changes the brightness. Do you/anyone that change the background color have NAV?

look for "warm" and "cool" I saw those when i was playing around with the nav, that might be your best bet

There's "background color" and "map color" 2 different things...
The map color gives you Cool or Warm... cool has a bluish tint and warm is orange. Not really very dramatic differences if you ask me.

But maybe it's cuz I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other.

That is a scary thought.

Seems to be a concensus, you have to have NAV to change the color of the background.

Unless that is someone without NAV can confirm changing color???

Non-Nav here. I have two options for background color. One is light grey/orange and the other is dark-grey/blue. I can see how some people would think only the brightness changes because it does change A LOT btwn these two settings. But if you look at the lines in the background, they do change from orange to blue and vice-versa.

I have nav. I just spent a few minutes in the garage at work and couldn't figure out how to change it to blue. Not that the gray and orange is bad to look at, but I would like to change it up sometimes.

Do you think that the non-nav has a blue background and the nav has the gray and orange?

Hope it's not too late but I would like to see a final answer on this. Following G-Whizzer's advice, I ca not locate a setting to change the background to blue. Spent 30 minutes playing with it to no avail.
If you look at the interior photos of the Sedan on infiniti.com, the 3rd photo from the top shows a Premium/Nav (which I have) with a blue screen displaying the radio station presets. This is what i am looking for.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

Have you tried sitting in the back seat and looking at it?
I think it's the angle of the photo.
That and there isn't a station highlighted in the site photo - when highlighted, the color is red/orange (even when the display color is set to "cool") on the selected channel.
Hope this helps.

Actually, I had the same question.
Someone posted pics of their car in another forum, the first two attached pics, and then there's one off the Japan Skyline website http://www2.nissan.co.jp/SKYLINE/V36/0611/index.html

They all have what appears to be a blue background for the nav screen. Anyone else been able to change their background colour? Mine only goes from grey with orange trims, to a darker shades of grey/black with red trims.
