Seriously... the bike is getting NO mods this summer! haha
Maybe between $300 - $400 for front and back. You may be able to do the install yourself ...

Hikos_G: How many miles have you put on your tires since lowering it on the H&Rs? How is your tire wear looking?

I was just looking at the alignment specs again... It looks like we will need the front and back. I was hoping maybe only needing one or the other. BOOO!

i think you should have waited a week to align the car..... could have evened out the camber issues a lil more

Doubtful. I've been driving around for over a month since my initial install. After re-alignment, it was still off because there was no more adjustment in the suspension. Alignment kit will most likely be needed.

Yeah, apparently there is no factory adjustment in the front suspension?? and they maxed out the rear adjustment. AWESOME!! haha

Any noticable tire wear issues yet Terry?

Not yet, but there will be. If you saw the pictures of my back tires you can see were the dirt sticks to the tread and by looking, you can already tell the inside will wear out first.

BTW ... the front alignment kit should give us camber and caster adjustments.

yeah... I was reading about some kits for the coupes and earlier models etc etc

It kind of looks like they come seperately, front and rear. Did Eibach give you any kind of tentative time frame? I dont want to spend a lot more money.... ohh well.

No time frame yet, but they are aware of the demand.

Our tires with the drop will wear out the inner treads of the tires faster without a doubt. As terry already mentioned, the only way around it is to run a camber kit when they become available.

The stock suspension camber parameters can only be adjusted so much to compensate for the drop. Now whether or not that remaining amount of camber is something you can live with or not is completely subjective. If you drive your car everyday, like most people do, then the wear will show up sooner and will cost you more $, more frequently. If you don't drive it everyday, obviously it'll wear slower. I, for one, do not drive the car everyday. I rotate with my motorcycle so I don't rack up miles on either one and I save on gas. Because of this, my tire wear will obviously not be as fast or apparent as a daily driver.

I've put on about 2500 miles on the new wheels and tires which went on the day I dropped it and if we were going by terry's indicator of dirt on the tire indicating contact patch, then my tires, even with my camber is contacting the ground relatively evenly to the outer edge of the tire.

that's just like the older models, only toe adjustment in the front and toe/camber in the rear, like every other G35 ever produced. Did you think it was going to be different for the 07?

Wait until they start to wear a little on the inside then have a tire shop take the tires off the rims and move the left tires to the right and right tires to left. You'll get 2x the tread life

As I have stated in this thread over and over, I am not as technically inclined as most of you. This is my 3rd G, but I have never lowered one before etc etc... so, I didnt know if it were different, the same, or a chimp humping a doorknob...
