Red face Gas cap question.

I have a small favor to ask, this morning I stopped to fill up my tank and in the process of removing the gas cap the tether pulled off of where it was mounted and after a quick look (in the rain, I might add ) I could not figure out where it goes. Can someone please snap a pic of their gas cap with tether properly attached and post?

Thanks, my internet connection at work is horribly slow this AM and hung up on the search.

Thanks for the link.

Thanks for the link.
I couldn't find it with the search either, but I knew it was there so I used the find command in Firefox and scanned through the whole 07 Sedan section to find it. I finally understand why there are different sections to this forum.

MINE FELL OFF TOO!

I read through the link provided in Christian's thread, but there was no definitive answer as to where to re-attach the tether.

Did anyone have this fixed yet?

It just snaps into the little hole marked 2 in the first picture.

So, which one did this belong in??? The "how to re-tether gas caps on any given make or model" section?? **this is just a joke**
