Yep, it will support any size CF card. Having said that though, it will only list and play the first 512 files.

512 files? if you have 1-hour long tracks, like trance albums (what i listen to nowadays), 8gb would work just fine. but if you have albums split into tracks, that may become a problem...

I have two 2GB cards that I use. My CF card is all different albums split into tracks and I honestly don't see it as a problem really. If you have 512 files each averaging 4 minutes, that is over 34 hours of continuous play. That's not too bad I don't think. With my two 2GB cards, I have about 70 hours of music...........which means I could drive from the east coast to west coast without listening to the same song twice.

For Canadian owners, Costco has some great prices.
I'm looking at the Transcend 2GB myself, and it's fast 120x (18 and 20MB/sec write and read) for $43.99 + taxes.

Not sure about shipping.

That's a great price. I paid $29 for a SanDisk Ultra II on eBay.

Dumb question but where does the compact flash card go? I didn't even know there was a feature like this.

Yeah - and that CF slot is only available if you get the Navigation package.
