Anyone complain to Infiniti about seat bolsters?
#32
I have this problem and when I noticed it, the car only had 500 miles on it. Just my opinion but it is pathetic that the seats do this when the car was 1 week old. I am very disappointed with the quality of the bolster in question. By the way, I am not fat, I'm 6' 1" and 175lb. Between the grill defect, the seat heater problem and the seat bolster, I am not satisfied right now with Infiniti.

I currently have 700 miles and i've been noticing it on mine for a few hundred miles. I'm a mere 144 pounds, so its not my weight, and i too try to "hop" over it when i get in. I've been regularly using leather conditioner, and it really hasn't worsened any.
Unfortunately, it seems "normal"

Leather is a natural skin, it will have lines and creases and it can happen very quickly. The alternative would be to us a man made fabric like vinyl or apply a chemical process to the outside of the leather that will harden it and prevent creasing. I'll take the soft supple leather any day.

Old-school leather guy here.
Just judging from the pictures, it looks like normal wrinkling. Leather has to be expected to wrinkle and "butt-buff" to some extent due to the nature of the material. Side bolster scuffing is also hard to avoid. I actually like that leather does this as it tends to personalize the car a bit. As long as you keep the hide clean and moisturized it should last a long time regardless of the wrinkles. It also helps to protect the interior (all surfaces) from the sun as much as possible. I always use a folding sunshade when parked outside...it's pretty much a necessity here the south.
Enjoy your new G.
