Interesting, they hated the fact that the non-nav versions had the display. Personally I love it. I got a non-nav because I couldn't justify it and I love the display for the radio/hvac/etc. Most cars these days have dashboards designed for nav, and then they rip the nav out for the non-nav version and the dash never quite looks right because it's a retrofit.
I looked at a max a year ago and hated it because if you didn't get the nav you got a monocrome (orange-blech) display in it's place. I was happy to see Infiniti take this step, rather than that or continuing the tiny display on the Gen-1s.

That was a good write up. At least they got to spend a good amount of time with the car to truly appreciate it.

they overlooked the non nav screen important functionality of rca hookups in the armrest, plus i like having the screen for displaying tracks names of a whole cd in one shot in the disc view as opposed to one track at a time on normal stereos, but nice to see the g get more coverage
