center console not perfectly fitted

when i drive.. i hear a single click sometimes from the NAVI center console area.

it seems it was not perfectly installed at production -- when i turn or stop, this click happens sometimes.. it is not a rattle or very loud noise.. but it is annoying that a new car would do this

when i push against the plastic console, i can hear the click noise..

anyone else experiencing this? wish a $40 grand car would be put together perfectly without these little annoying noises

is there a fix for this?

Do you have any other noticeable rattles of any kind?

Yep, have heard this tick also. It seems to happen on cold mornings as the car is warming-up. Appears to be thermal expansion of some tight fitting rosewood panels. I pushed on one of the center console panels and it made the same tick. Minor issue on an otherwise sweet ride.

Haven't heard this - is it on the wood versions only?

All-in-all this is one quiet car. I've heard some sounds from my suitcase and thought it was the car.

I'm glad to hear that at least initially there are those that find the sedan to be rattle free. After owning my Coupe rattle trap, I would like to believe that Infiniti is able to improve their product and make a more solid vehicle. I'm planning on purchasing a G35S and don't want rattles anymore!!!!

The GS350 was actually my orginal car of choice. However, after hanging around one of the Lexus Forums for some time, I was disuaded by all the major complaints with creaking and rattles on the GS300 and some major issues with spot welding of the F Pillar as a fix. That is why I have now decided on the G35 sedan. If the G35 still has some rattle issues, at least it's 12,000 less than the loaded GS350.

I also looked at the GS350 first since this car hadnt been released but after driving it, it felt like a tank and was a little sluggish of the line....IMO...

Funny you should say that............I thought the exact same thing with regards to it being like a boat. I didn't think it was sluggish, and it was really luxo inside, but I missed the sportiness of the G35. I was also turned off by all the negative stuff in the forums. I'm hoping that the 07G35 has gotten everything right that they missed on the early Gs without the rattles and tire issues.
