When we first saw pictures of the 07 Sedan this time last year, the response was much the same as the 08 Coupe. There were alot of people that were talking negatively about it here. Once people saw it in person, their opinions changed. I suspect most people will love the G37 once they see it in person.

I think the answer would be different depending on a lease or buy. If a lease, it's kind of like who cares, 1/3 of the lease would be over in a year, and it's not a long-term thing anyway, they're getting a new car again, be it a G37 or something else. If a person buys, I think it's human nature to not like to have your purchase become outdated in only one model year. Look at the 2k6 330 turning into a 335 in 2k7, I think it's the same thing. Leasing, who cares, it's not your car and you're getting a new one 2 years later. If you plunked down 42k, you kind of would have liked the opportunity to have spent 2k more for something more potent and improved.

+1

I'm also not excited to see a larger displacement number and lower fuel efficiency.
That's not altogether true, one has to buy a tv at some point, are you happy when your Bravia goes from 720p to 1080p the next year, and it costs the same? Of course not, it does make your TV less exciting. Making a decision to buy and not looking back is what humans can do. Even if we're rich, we do try to hit the sweet spot.

I'm totally satisfied. I'm not sure they will make a g37 sedan. My opinion(pure guess) is they only made the 3.7 in the coupe is so that is as fast as the sedan. Who would buy coupes if the sedan is faster. With the specs I've read the 08 coupe with the 3.7 is the same 0-60 etc as the sedan. Even with parallel performance I wonder why give up two doors.......unless you only have one friend.
