Nope, I wouldn't have waited and am completely happy with the purchase of my 07. If you don't take the plunge at some point you'll be playing the waiting game year after year.

Btw, we don't even know if there will be a G37 Sedan.

I agree 100%. If you're so worried about it, lease

306HP is more than enough for me

True as long as Infiniti increases the prices a bit so it doesn't make us 07 owners feel thrown out to the curb. If they replace it the the 3.7L and charge the same amount, it kinda makes me feel they made a mistake.

I voted for "I just like to vote" because I don't own a 07 and not planning to get a 08 G37. I just think an engine bigger than 3.5L shouldn't be a V6 anymore.

I used to tell people the same thing all the time when I sold TVs at Future Shop. Will there be a newer and cooler model next year? Probably. Does this make your TV any less exciting? Not at all.

+1

I'm also not excited to see a larger displacement number and lower fuel efficiency.

i wouldn't buy a sedan, but if I had to, I would probably wait to see what the new model looks like. Then after comparing, if I didnt like or was not satisfied, I would buy an 07.

That sounds like the usual boilerplate marketing statement regarding fuel efficiency, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Due to lifestyle change (starting a family) I had to do the conversion from a coupe to a sedan. However, with that said, I would be extremely upset if I were in the market for the new coupe - I just think they screwed it up big time. The concept was pure hotness. I don't know why they had to do such a drastic change to it.

invalid survey... there is not going to be an '08 G37 Sedan. The way the G35 is still selling so strong, they would be stupid to put the 3.7 in next year. I think it will be at least '09 when the sales level off as this new bodystyle isnt AS new anymore. Then 2 more years for us with 3.5s to buy up to 3.7s and VOILA- youve made it to another re-design.

So, I am happy to have one of the first 2nd Gen G35 sedans.

The only reason why I'd wait if they tossed the 3.7 into an '08 sedan is the fuel economy. Apparently, people are thinking the nissan variable valve stuff in the 3.7 liter will give it better mileage than the 3.5.

The G35 has more than enough power to put a smile on my face when I barely even tap the accelerator and an even bigger smile at WOT.

The gas mileage on the G35 bugs me because I really want to be green but there aren't any green cars with the kind of smile factor of the VQ.
