Maybe this rock chip thing wont be so bad?!?!

So, I used some very advanged age progression software (MS Paint) and got a picture of my car at 10,000 miles.... I dont think its going to be so bad!

**yeah, I know, its horrible, I am not a photoshop guy... and too lazy to fix the big mistakes!

lmfao!! he's complimenting infiniti on their ever so great, soft paint.

you guys didnt get the sarcasm. All the 07 sedan owners have been complaining about the grille chipping very easily as well.

actually... its just supposed to be what it will look like once the rest of the paint has chipped off. Not to happy about the fact that the front of my car looks like **** in less than 3000 mi

yeah, i know, bad attempt at a pic, 10 minutes and MS Paint at the end of the day at work.

I know you might not like the clear-bra with full bumper wrap, but it sure helps.

lol... thanks for the laugh...

Well, my friends. After a week and half of ownership it's time for tint and bra - both going on tomorrow. Coupin827 and I are taking the babes for a treatment at the salon...

I think its already tooo late for the clear bra. Not to mention, I have nasty chips within 5-6 inches of my windshield. I dont think the clear bra is going to go up that far =(

I have owned a couple Maximas and am on my 2nd G35 and they do chip more than some other makes, but never as bad as you are saying is happening to you already.
Do you drive down gravel roads. Or maybe do you follow too close to other traffic. I'm just curious.

Maybe I follow too closely? I dont like sitting behind people...

no gravel roads, and not a lot of interstate driving at all. I did 1 road trip from VA to Pittsburgh to DC back to VA. I will prob trip 3k miles tonight or tomorrow.

I was just thinking about it and wondered what it would look like with the front black being retarded... thought I would share, thats all. I thought it was funny. I have weird humor perhaps!

The key factor for chips is tailgating. If you have a habit of driving too close to other cars you can rest assured your bumper will suffer from "acne"...

Keep some distance. I know it's hard to do when morons are driving too slow on the left lane. If you can't pass him, just bite your lips and hit the brakes to open some space between you and him.
