I'll try to take a pic. Did you check your front grill yet to see if there's a hole there where this piece is suppose to fill in? I'll have a look after work today.

 

gonna take a guess...could it be the missing mesh from where the icc is located?

If you're looking at the front, its just the left of the license plate bracket. Behind this plastic cover, you can see a 1.5" hole that is threaded. Anyone know what the hole is for?

Now that you mention this, I went out and checked and indeed there is a little square hole in the bumper

I looked around and didn't find this trim piece anywhere ...... all I have is the front license plate bracket and screws.

Will probably swing by the dealer and see if the other 07 Gs in the lot have this covered or not.

Also +1 on kewltea's question -- was this packaged on its own or with something else ?

I wouldn't tow with it! Probably more of a "transport hook" to tie the vehicle down during shipment only.

 

It was in the same plastic bag as the CD magazine.

 

I've had my new G since December...this is the first time I've opened the trunk or the hood. Rear doors have never been opened either. Hahahaha.
