Yes

The 07' is a huge improvement. If you have more money to burn, take a look at the 335i

Nice G there. Let's see: a new one will go faster and hug your butt and make you feel good; and the next one won't be any cheaper. You will get to post continuously in this section without grief, and be part of the crowd of anxious G fanscontemplating if and when there is G37 Sedan and worrying about a couple of of car lengths in the cross magazine races. Obviously you NEED to do it.

+1...Bending over and taking it in the rear isn't usually worth it.

That's my exact thought. You are in essence willing to lose $12k to $15k for one year’s use of a car. Cars are horrible investment anyway, at least new cars are. Unless you hate your '06 I'd consider waiting for the 08's this fall. Trying to keep up with the latest gadgets is a no win situation, there is always something better on the horizon. That being said I love my 07.

$21,500 + $20,000 = $41,500.... What kind of a G is that?

Maybe the price includes taxes as well ??
Have no idea which state -- but if it is taxes, it is quite high !

+2 That's a bunch of money to pay for 13 HP (16 at 60 ), and some new toys. I raced...oh, I mean, I happened to be behind an '06 6MT sedan at full throttle from a roll a few times the other day, and basically reeled him in slowly toward the top end of each gear.

Worth you taking a bath on your current car? I wouldn't, and I love my '07.

In my opinion the 07 is a great car but it isn't worth taking that kind of loss after only 1 year. In your case I would wait to see what is coming in 08.
