My Music Box experience
My Music Box experience
I've had the vehicle for about 2 weeks now, and last night just starting playing with the Music Box, and trying to record a CD for the first time. My first impression is why I didn't start playing with this feature earlier, it is truly impressive and amazing. To be able to store those many CDs and songs is terrific. Also, having the CDs title and song list names is priceless. Don't know how its able to pull the song track names, but I like it!
Quick question:
1. When its recording a CD, can you change song tracks or should not touch anything? I can see the recording status "Recording 3/12" or something like that.
2. What is the average time to record a CD? I think it took less than 10 minutes.

You don't have to listen to the CD player when you're recording a CD. I usually put in a CD to record and then switch to the MB to listen to stuff that's already in it. There's an indicator on all the screens including the map that tells you when it's recording that goes away when it stops. That way you know when to switch back to the CD and put another one in.
You can listen to the CD if you want, but you can't change tracks or anything.
Also CDs take between 10-15 minutes to record depending on the number and lenght of the tracks.
