HDD Not Available problem

I've had my car for about a month and a half and I've put about 2000 miles on it. I'm starting to have a problem with my nav system and want to see if anyone else is having it.

About every third or fourth time I start my car the nav system hangs on the Infiniti logo screen. About 50% of the time it starts up after a few minutes. The rest of the time (and this % seems to be increasing) it displays a message that says "HDD Not Available. Please contact Dealer" then it displays a black and white status screen of the AC system. After it shows that image I can push the map button a few times and get the nav system comes back on.

Is anyone else seeing this problem and if so does it go away or does it finally die? I am not looking forward to replacing the hard drive since I've already loaded 50+ cds into the MB and tagged each song for mood.

This is not normal. If it is easily repeatable, take it in and have them diagnose the problem (it's still under warranty). If it is not repeatable, take a digital photo to show them. They should be able to tell you what your options are as far as whether or not you need a new A/V unit. That's when you may need to make a decision regarding all the stored data.

I've been out of town so I haven't brought the car in yet. I'll be bringing it in next Tuesday and I'll let you know how it goes. Hopefully it doesn't get mechanicitis and stop doing right when I bring it in.
