OK my last choice What color to get?

I have decided to get the sport/nav/tech/prem but can't decide between black and blue slate. I think I want black but I heard black cars are a pain to keep clean. My question is the blue slate any easier to keep clean because it is still a dark color? If it was up to you and you tend to be lazy with washing cars what would you do? I think I will clean this car more because I will like it more than my past.

If you tend to be lazy washing cars do NOT buy black. Black cars are beautiful when clean, but show dirt very easily. My neighbor's black Hummer shows dirt instantly, and my black Accord did too.

That depends on how clean you like your cars. To me, there is no difference between black and blue slate (I've owned cars in both colors). I usually wash my car once every week or two because the dust bugs me.

I have the black

While I do really like the BS, my wife convinced me to get the BO. I had been reluctant to pick black because of maintenance issues, but she noted how the black and the chrome grill and lip look great together. For me, I am happy I chose black.

It does show dirt much more than my white maxima, but it doesn't bother me much. I love the way the black looks after a wash and wax, though. Also, black does show any little surface imperfection if you look closely, but as others have noted: A good way to stay sane while owning a black car is to appreciate its appearance from no less than a few feet away.

The Blue Slate is dark enough to show dirt. So if you think the BS will hide dirt better than the BO, you're mistaken.

With that said, go with the Blue Slate. Every manufacturer has black. The BS however is just plain unique and awesome color. Sometimes it's gray, sometimes it's blueish, it's just plain awesome. With that said, here is mine:

^ I agree. I wouldn't expect BS to be any easier to keep clean than BO. If you really want BO, just get it and also get a QD like this. This type of product will allow you to keep your BO clean by wiping it down quickly. Good luck with your decision.

Ok so I have decided to get blue slate. Even if it is just as hard to clean as the black it just looks different than any other car on the road. There are alot of black cars but not that many blue slates.

Thanks guys.

Now I have no excuse I have made up my mind on everything I just need to go sign my name.

BS is a great choice.

I really prefer the dark gray side of BS. That's why I wish Infiniti would offer the Smoke color that was offered on the Altima and Maxima on the G.

I saw Platinum Graphite today on the road. It's pretty nice. Rich color and is easier than Black. I love LP but would have selected PG as my second choice the more I see it. IP and BS are good as well. Not a bad choice in the bunch.
