What do you mean by erase it? Do you mean cancel the route you are on or delete the location from the system?

If its cancel route - you can do the 'cancel route' voice command, easiest way.

 

Like dcmidnight said, if you need to cancel the route, either use the voice command, or click the Route button and select cancel route. If you need to delete a route from a saved list of previous destinations, you will need to go to Settings --> Navigation --> and look it up there. However, IIRC there is no way to delete a single route, you will need to delete the whole list.

P.S.

Where did you go that you need to delete it? Some strip bar you don't want the wife/gf find out about?

along these same lines... I am buying a new house, how do I change my baby's HOME location??

I dont mind deleting my list, no destinations in there I need or cant put back-

Settings --> Navigation --> Address Book --> Stored Location --> Home Location --> Edit.
