Problems with voicetags

Problems with voicetags
Anyone else is having problems with the voice tags on the phonebook? I can utilize the voice commands for everything in the car except for the voice tags. When I speak "phonebook <voice tag>", the system does not recognize the tag, and instead displays the phonebook and asks me to speak up the corresponding saved slot number for that tag... For example, if I want to dial home and I say "phonebook home", the system displays the list of saved numbers and replied back with "please speak the number for the requested entry", at which I point I need to speak the word "one" for the first saved entry (home).
Am I doing something wrong?

There has been alot written about this. See https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...oth+voice+tagd. My problem was solved by replacing the Nav computer. Been ok ever since.

When I had the voicetags created, I had no problems using them Daniel. As an example, I would simply say "phonebook Mark" to call my friend. After the system deleted my voicetags for the second time, I decided that it was a waste of my time recording them again.

Sorry, I feel stupid now. I saw these threads before but didn't pay close enough attention. I thought that actual tags (word tags on the screen) were disappearing, I didn't realize people were talking about their voice tags...
Crap, looks like we are all having the same issue... Let me guess, the architects of that system, wrote the code to record the tags and load them into RAM without committing them to the hard drive...
I would delete this thread, but since you added a link, I'll just lock it and keep it around for other people's reference.
Thanks.
