Sport Pedals for a G35x?

I've found some places that sell the Sport Pedals that come with the "S"

I assume they fir the "X" without a hitch... but how much of a pain are they to install?
Anyone done it?

Great question, I've never looked at the gas pedal mechanism, but I would LOVE to install a normal pedal down there. Gotten used to it over the last few months but still hate it.

I'm curious if the Sport Aluminum pedals simply sit atop our normal black ruber-like pedals, or if replacement is more of a production.
According to the pics, they look like just pedals or pedal covers, and not the whole mechanism.

the rubber pedals remove and the new aluminum ones slip over the metal pedal assembiles...

i have some auto brake pedals here, but to get the accelerator pedal aluminum you have to replace the full pedal...

for OEM parts atleast...

I know the links not working...

on top of switching to new servers, we are working on putting together a new parts web site...

Replaced on my previous '03 G35 standard pedals to sport pedals. The footrest is a simple replacement but the gas/brake pedals slipped over the metal base plate and couldn't get that to happen. Had the dealer change them on the cars next visit. Saved lots of sweat

Pedals are 53.90CAD for brake and 226.93CAD for gas auto transmission.

The gas is a complete assembly as I guessed, there is no safe way to clamp on a pedal on a floor pivot gas pedal without affecting it's fuction somehow...

Anyone know where I can find the metal dead pedal? i want my dead "pedal" (or poor excuse for a dead pedal that infiniti "puts" on these cars) to come out a bit more. I'm assuming it's drilled into the sheet metal behind it. that would make it stick out more.

?
