Canadian Sport Models With SplashGuards

Does anyone in Canada with a Sport model have splashguards installed? My dealer is saying that only front splashguards are available on the Sport model. That doesn't make any sense to me.

I got mine through Grubbs Infiniti because they were on backorder through Canadian dealers. They do have different part #'s for the front splashguards, but the rears are the same for sport and non-sport models.

Shane don't tell me that they are saying it is a US only option for the Sport model. I know some guys here have them on their US G35 Sports.
Tech DVDs, First Aid kits, rear Sport Splashguards Only in Canada eh
I think they are spreading you some Moose$hit Shane.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense at all to me. It's not like there are side sills there that would prevent you from installing rear splashguards on the Sport.

Anyways, I got my salesguy to order rear splashguards from a G35x. Sigh.....more waiting.

Atleast they'll take your money.

My dealership says they have no parts numbers for nothing.

Well keep rattling their chains, thats what I had to do. I was down to the point where I was demanding they order from the US if they couldn't get them here. Well their order came in and they installed them a few weeks ago andI really like them, they blend right in.
Note this is on my X, I believe you have the same model Cyanide Ride.

That is correct Wayne, I have an X as well

I've already contacted the parts manager, hopefully he can dig something up for me.

Yes it seems as things go Canadians are getting hosed again eh. I was at the dealership yesterday and the parts manager said he is now able to order the splashguards which he did for me. He said it will take 2-3 weeks to get them in. I'll let you know once they come in.

Riverside Infiniti sells splash guards as well as other OEM items on ebay for the 2007 G35 sedan. They charge $86 plus $16 shipping for front and rear. My local dealer wanted $140 plus tax and $116 for install. I think I will buy from Riverside and go to a local body shop for the install.

Riverside's Ebay store

The splashguards were part of the final negotiated deal. Once they come in I will let you know what the dealer is charging for the parts.

Mine were part of the negotiated deal as well. I have been waiting for them since the end of November. I am supposed to have them sometime next week and plan on installing them myself.

Shane... sounds like they're just confused by the part listing.

Since there's a separate # for the sport front & no # for sport rear...
They assume there is NO sport rear.

They probably don't have the non-sport rear cross referenced.

Hey... if it's not in the computer, it doesn't exist.
