non-navi. question for the 07g35

if the the 07g35 sedan doesnt come with the navigation option does it still have the screen there?

is the screen still color? and what is it used for? does the aux still work?

screen has everything else that is non-nav (and in colour):
cd display, temp, etc.

aux-in still there (standard on all 2007 g35 sedans i think)

really.. didnt think it would be in colour... thats nice to have a colour screen.. how hard is it to add the oem navi.?

Pretty hard I would think. The OEM navi is HD based and would have its own set of wiring and more importantly firmware/software that needs to get updated.

If you want Navi order it with Navi -- I doubt adding OEM navi after the fact would be any cheaper than the 2k or so it costs as a factory option.

You can obviously do some kind of a setup with a after market navi though.

yeah. if you don't have navi the best bet is to buy an aftermarket one.

the buttons are different on the non-nav version of the g (i had a loaner car that was non-nav).

All the dealers should be able to add a aftermarket navi system, i got quoted $900/$1700 depending on which unit. These are build in and are not external units.

any more details on these build units ? like brand and how it would operate ?
