Shaved a few ounces from the G this morning-

Thats right- I finally ran it up onto a curb. I knew it would happen, just a matter of time. I was trying to get to work a little early b/c I am flying out to Chicago this evening for my boys wedding this weekend. Whipped into the local gas station to get my morning coffee (Mt. Dew) and scrreech. %*^*@ (insert you fav 4-letter word here)!!!!

Its really not too bad, it scratched up the bottom side of the front clip a bit, pretty much right in the center. Unless you get down and look up on it, you cannot see it. I dont think anyone would ever notice it, but I know its there. OH WELL- like I said, it was only a matter of time!

How are the rest of you guys who are lowered making out? No incidents yet???

WHOA WHOA!!! by "my boys" wedding, I meant my buddy's wedding. I am only 25 and have no children haha. It should be a good time though. Never been to Chicago-

Yeah, the scratches arent a huge deal though- not noticable.

So far so good.

Wait a minute ... bottom side of front lip? Are you sure you didn't just scrape the black strip UNDER the spoiler? It's about 3/4" - 1" tall. If you scraped the bottom side of the front lip that good, you would have ripped the black strip off. I consider that black strip to be expendable as long as the paint is still good.

nope, I got the bottom of the bumper. the front lip/spoiler sticks out further than the black thing. I scrape the black strip thing pretty often, the roads here in old town winchester have drainage conveyance across the intersections, making for steep crossings. I consider the black thing expendable as well. It doesnt even show scratches really-

I just took a look at where you live, and I know I don't have to tell you that things could be worse. Enjoy the wedding!

It's always best to have a reason when you beat your wife...(comes in handy in court )

OUCH!!!!

How did that happen? For that much damage to the body, the wheel sure looks fine...

Sorry to hear about your front as well, sean. I haven't done anything to curse at with my G yet(knocking on wood) but it can happen to the best of us, unfortunately.

Hopefully you can get it touched up and looking like new again.

Well... It all happened in a parking lot near my house...

As soon as my car was backed out of the parking space and try to put the gear in D, as in Drive, a brand new Toyota truck that was supposed to be parked right behind me backed out as he was not aware of me being backed out first "ALREADY". I was in the car literaly "WATCHING" him backing out. At first when the backing out light, the white one, came on from the truck, I thought he wasn't going to back out until I left... but... wait a sec... oh SXXT!! He's moving! I honked at him, but it was already too late. BAM!... and that's what happened...

I have no f'ing idea how people are obtaining lisences with such careless driving characteristic these days... they probably paid for it or something.

But anyway... I'm going to put my car in a bodyshop tomorrow after an insurance agent inspects it.

Anyone know which bodyshop is reputable in south California... namely near Orange County?
