Coming from driving an Acura Integra, I noticed that the first 2 days of driving the G the car tend oversteer in comparison. I had to correct my line after the turn. However, I guess that I've got used to the car now and it doesn't seem to do that anymore.

I've never heard of a rear wheel drive car having snap overstear. My guess is that the car is naturally oversteering as an FR layout car is supposed to and then the VDC kicks in and throws everything off. Stupid traction control. Snap Oversteer is supposed to be really bad with MR cars, but even though ours qualifies as one, we shouldn't be suffering from traits of classic MR cars because our engine is still in the front.

The G definitely tends to oversteer more than any other vehicle I've owned (front wheel drive, or AWD with front bias). Understeer is annoying but easier to control, oversteer is more fun .

Edit: WShade beat me to it.

you know what? maybe I am. hmmmmm...... I have to take everything back now. I still have never heard from japanese critics that the G has any oversteer. They have referred to what you guys are referring to as "oversteer" as "understeer". Who knows, maybe something was lost in translation.

The G does understeer. All cars tend to understeer. Mass market vehicles have it baked into them, for safety purposes. For the everyday person, in an everyday driving situation, understeer is more easily correctable than oversteer.

However, the G can be made to swing the tail out. That's throttle-induced oversteer. Throttle-induced oversteer and standard oversteer are two different things.
