IMO best restraunt is down Westhiemer from where you are staying, Fogo De Chao, We also have 2 Morten Steakhouse's, and a crap load of great Tex-mex restraunts, as well as BBQ joints.

I'll be adding one more BO G35S, been on order for 1 month, 2 to go.

Quote: I live in the Chicago suburbs and have only seen one new G on the road beside mine.

So this week I'm in Houston for training, and I must've seen a half dozen. Several different Black Obsidians (different drivers, different types of tint) and there is a beautiful Serengeti Sand in the lot outside my hotel. Overall, the car culture in Houston is quite unbelievable. I see lots of 'nice' cars, and even a Bentley Conti on dubs today. Wow.
That explains why people are complaining of not enuf discount there on Gs... perhaps they are most popular down south then in the northeast.

Thanks all for the comments/suggestions...
I just returned to Chicagoland. Houston was very nice, with lots of nice people, beautiful rides, and delicious food. Let me say that the quality and variety of ethnic food certainly rivaled that in the SF Bay Area (where I used to live). I'll be back soon...and hopefully will have had some more G-spottings around the Chicago suburbs in the meantime.

Quote: I live in LA, haha, so I have to chime in. I go to this upscale grocery place (not because I'm rich, but because it's two blocks from my apartment complex). 80% of that parking lot will be composed of BMWs, Benzes and Lexuses. You get a few practical cars like the Camry, and then you get the exotics. I've seen plenty of Porsches, a Lotus Exige, and a Ferrari once. I guess even rich people need to eat.
They should send their servants for grocery shopping.

SF Bay Area to Aurora, IL must've been culture shock for you! We used to live right in downtown Chicago (State and Ontario) and now we live in WA state about 20 min east of Seattle. I'm sure when you hop over to downtown Naperville you will see a bunch of G's and other luxury brands.

I live in Naperville and only saw 2 07 G35 (both X) in Naperville since launch.
On my way to work (40 miles drive each way) I saw another 2-3 07G
thus far, but I see tons of pre 07 G everyday.

I am waiting for 08 to come out, hopefully it will be called G37

I was in the Chicago area (mainly Mchenry/Crystal Lake) from Wed-Sunday for my buddies wedding. I saw 2 new sedans, both on 90, heading towards the city. I saw a platinum graphite and a very nice black one with black rims w/ chrome lip (looked very nice). Anyone here???

I also saw a Bentley on several occasions parked at the Dunhills restaurant beside our hotel, the Hampton Inn, McHenry. If your local- I would reccomend Dunhills for lunch, not that expensive, great food, and I think that Bentley owner eats there everyday!!

I live just north of Houston, I've had my G for about 2 months now & lovin every minute of it. My next door neighbor just bought a Journey about a week ago. He purchased the Platinum Graphite, Black interior w/wood trim. He came over and apoligized for buying the same car. I told him no problem, I completly understand. Once you drive one your hooked.
