Holy G's in Houston...
I live in the Chicago suburbs and have only seen one new G on the road beside mine.
So this week I'm in Houston for training, and I must've seen a half dozen. Several different Black Obsidians (different drivers, different types of tint) and there is a beautiful Serengeti Sand in the lot outside my hotel. Overall, the car culture in Houston is quite unbelievable. I see lots of 'nice' cars, and even a Bentley Conti on dubs today. Wow.

I have a Black Obsidian 2007 G35 Journey, and I live in Houston. I wonder if you saw me driving mine. Are you staying in the Galleria area by any chance?
Lots of people think Houston is a lot of cowboys, probably riding horses, wearing holstered six-guns on their belts, with tumbleweeds rolling through the streets. As you can see, the people who think that are way wrong.

BTW, my G is BO as well, so they're almost twins!

If you get really adventurous, and want to drop some coin, Brenners at (I-10 and Sam Houston has good food, and right now is the weather to book outside.
And finally, Le Peep has good huevos. We used to live over there

If you like cajun food, there is a restaurant called Rajin Cagin on Gessner, just north of Westheimer. It is not too far from you. I am not sure, but you may not get a lot of good cajun food in Illinois. Try the shrimp and chicken gumbo. It is quite good.

Thanks for the kind words for Houston! We are actually a different animal than Dallas. Houston is fairly conservative and laid back while Dallas would be more "yuppy" and fast paced.
My wife just picked up her Ivory Pearl G35s last week. We are loving it. I did notice that two more sedans were in my neighborhood (copper lakes area) and I saw two G35s sedans enter the StoneGate neighborhood this week. Plenty on the road.
