Wouldn't an ECU reflash possibly affect the new car warranty ??

Yes I do know about the Magnusson-Moss Act ...... but a reflash could be a gray area since it is not a mechanical mod per se ..... and it might be hard to go fight against Infi in court !

Just wondering, that's all ...

Looking at some of the 3-4 year old posts, this modigicaiton does not seem worth wild. From the few Dyno results I have seen you get ~ 6-8 hp, for $495 this does not seem to be the best bang for the $.

I just spoke to one of the R&D folks @ Technosquare apparently they're looking for an 07 G with a MT supposedly easier to dyno. Anyone in the So Cal area should give them a call.

did the older G's shift gears at redline even in triptronic mode or something? that would be the only reason why a 6mt would be better that i can think of. our 3rd gear is optimal for tuning in the 5AT especially without any ecu kicking in to shift it once in sport paddle mode.

oh well, as long as somebody gets in there with a stock vehicle and gets tuned.

BTW the actual TS guy posted up about this after my post in the engine/forced induction section.
