Haven't had to change wheels yet, but I'll probably just go TPMS-less during winter, unless I feel like buying another set.

Shuric, why are you concerned? Aren't you from California? It snows there?
You are correct – San Francisco Bay Area is not exactly known for its crazy snow storms. But ski resorts around Lake Tahoe are less than a 4-hour drive away from me so I usually go there about 5 times each winter and Highway Patrol always have chain checks on every road leading into the mountains during the whole season. And I don’t have to tell you guys what a pain in the a** it is to put on chains on the side of the road in the middle of the storm. That’s why I got the X model in the first place – to avoid that hassle. So now I’m just curious if I’ll have to buy snow tires this fall or not. Looks like I will.

Thanks for the replies guys.

stock-stock.

Driven during winter with heavy boughts of snow and ice and wet snow.

A little slippery, but nothing the G can't handle. I was quite confident in it, moreso than my AWD Matrix...
