If you have a portable DVD player you can plug it into the AUX ports in the armrest and that will allow you to watch a DVD on the LCD screen.........BUT the car needs to be in park with the emergency brake engaged for it to work. Don't bother asking if there is any way around it as this is a safety feature that Infiniti implemented and bypassing it isn't a popular topic here. I hope this helps.

Don't forget if you have an iPod video, and you have videos stored, you can use a cable to attach it into the AUX ports, and then like Garnet said, just put it in park and put down the emergency brake, then hit play on your iPod!

What about splicing the video to an aftermarket lcd screen so the kids can watch in the back but using the car's audio system. Would that work when not in park?

It should ... only the video is locked out, but the audio will still play (as if you had an MP3 player attached). Did you really want to listen to Barney though?

right now he's only 2 and the headphones don't really stay in place when I try to make him use the ipod video. it worked ok on the place because I was there to replace the headphones every 2 minutes

plus he mostly watches cars and the lion king.. not too bad

I have one of those... it's sitting in my trunk right now as it has been for weeks.

Dominic and his guys didn't have the pinout for the 07. Then they did, but they didn't have the connector for the back of the unit to make it plug and play, because the connector is different in the 07s. Then they were busy the Saturday when I was gonna go there, etc.

At this point I've given up until they get their act together. Once I know someone else has installed this on the 07, I'll go over there and get it done.
