following infiniti vehicle maintenance schedules and others q's

what's going on people ...

i was just wondering how many of you folks are following the infiniti vehicle mainenance schedules.

1. first off, state if you are leasing your vehicle or you purchased your vehicle.

2. If you are doing the premium, schedule 1 or schedule 2 maintenance

3. if going synthetic oil, at what point did you switch over? break-in period
(1200 mi)? 3000 mi? 5000 mi? etc

4. anybody decided to just use the conventional oil instead of the synthetic oil?

thanks for the reply people.

1) lease

2) whatever is the 7500 mile interval

3) apparently the cars come with factory fill synthetic from edit: quaker state (read this in another thread here)

4) sticking with synth... i'm switching to amsoil extended life this weekend at about 600 miles on the clock.

I'm positve the car comes with regular Dino oil, not synthetic.

I really don't have to, I have talked to two Dealers concerning this. They told me that the car comes with regular oil and it is the Customer's option if they want to switch to synthetic later on.

As a double check I just called the Dealer 5 minutes ago, and he confirmed again that it comes with regular Dino oil.

the person that posted called infiniti customer relations.

that's all i know.

i'm going to use amsoil regardless so it's just mental masturbation at this point.

I suggest you check with your dealer like I did and find out what they say comes in the car.

But I agree switching to synthetic after you have gone through a few regular oil changes on the car is a great idea .

well, it's factory fill, not dealer fill so i don't trust my dealer to know anything reliable.

and i don't really care because i'm swapping out the break-in oil this weekend anyway

Swapped out the Dino oil at 2500 miles for full Synthetic and planning on changes every 7500 miles there after. I bought my vehicle out right and I'm not sure what option #2 is?
Cheers
