Infiniti Road Service Card

Got my 2007 sedan about six weeks ago and have not yet received my Road Service Card. How long did it take for the rest of you guys to get yours?

That seems a bit long... maybe give your dealer a jingle/ring/call/email/letter/shout.... etc.

Hmmm.... I got my car end of December, and come to think of it, I haven't received my card either.

I just got mine yesterday and I purchased my car about 3 weeks ago. You may want to call the dealership just to track it down.

the card is pointless. it is a document with the roadside assistanced number. big woop. just like every other car i've bought.

My car came with the temporary "Infiniti Total Ownership Program" card (i.e. the roadside card). The back of the card says that "you will receive a permanent Infiniti Total Ownership Prgoram card within 60 days". I got my car end of December, and I still haven't received the permanent card.

Is the permanent card really needed? Also, I just purchased the Infiniti Extended Protection Plan (7 years, 100K miles, 0 deductible). I purchased it from another dealer (where I didn't buy the car from). Does that program give you another card (with an expiration 7 years from date of purchase), so I wouldn't need the permanent card that I never got? Just wondering if I need to push my car's dealer for a permanent card or not.

Thanks.

I got my car Feb. 12. Got the official card about 6 weeks later. But I never have gotten the CD on car operation mentioned to arrive in 60 days. Anyone else get a CD?

No - I had to get my car picked up (don't ask), and just used the temp card. Not a problem, Infiniti paid.

I got a DVD in the mail about 1.5 months after I got my car. The DVD explained how to use the various features of the car. By then, it really wasn't much use since I was already very familiar with the car. The DVD just showed up in the mail one day.

Why not furnish it with the car on delivery. That is the time someone might view it. Not 2 months later. Strange marketing?

Agreed - but we work with teams that do this kind of thing, and it may not have been anticipated as a need when the car launched. If they got the idea from receiving lots of questions from new owners at the launch of the car, two months is a pretty good time to execution for a new DVD.

A coworker bought his Journey late last year and he got the DVD by mail much later. I bought mine about six weeks ago and it came with it in the driver's package.

I also got both of the service cards at the four week point, or thereabouts.
