do your GF's lean forward in their seats? the seat also has a position sensor. put a heavy enough weight on the weat, but one that just starts to touch the bottom of the backrest, and the light will go on (airbag off). shift the piece so it doesn't touch the seatback and the light goes off (airbag on).
if a light woman is not leaning fully back in the seat, the position sensor may think a "small child" is in the seat.

MY gf and I have had this concersation as well. She is maybe 100 lbs soaking wet, little school teacher woman- I tried to explain she might not be heavy enough to trip the sensor if shes leaning to one side or something. I would be interested in what Infiniti says- I didnt think to ask at my service appt.

Air Bag Problem also
I just had the problem today. Dont think it has to do with weight. My wife weighs 110lbs, but when we got home I sat in the seat and the light stayed on. I also cycled the car on and off a few times to see if it would go away. Its still there, always on. I just turned 6000 miles. I'm wondering if it is a gremlin inbeded by the factory. So we will bring the cars in so they can get data. Just an idea. What mileage point did it happen for the rest of you at?

You think its the cars way of telling us it disapproves of the woman? I mean, women tend to be jealous of the car, maybe the G is jealous of the women too, and its trying to off them?!?!
