Thanks guys for the response. I didn't have time to respond yesterday. Sorry for making you all wait. It turned out that there was nothing wrong with the car and my bro is crazy/stupid. He still swears to me that the front left wheel was locked when he tried to back it out of the garage. He claims he managed to some how move the car back about two feet while the wheel was locked then he was scared to move the car so he called me up. Well I went there put the car in drive and moved it back up with no problems. I think he was just paranoid it being a new car and may be he heard a tire squeaking noise while turning the wheel from the tire being new. His wife also says that she heard an unusual squeaking sound like the wheel was being dragged. Either way, until I experience the prob. myself I am just going to ignore what they said. I drove the car for about 100 miles now and I already have a bunch of little flying bugs stuck to my front bumper and the car being black doesn't help either.

Sedanman07, Are you a mechanic? Why would the caliper be stuck? Please explain your reason?

Eclipse2G35,

Did you engage your e-brake when you parked your car at your brother place?

To me it sounds like the e-brake was engaged. This would make sense... when your brother heard that strange sound it could been caused by the rear calipers rubbing against the rear rotors. And as you mentioned your car is brand new.. so when your brother heard that noise he panicked and stopped called you.... Also when the e-brake is engaged it would feel like the wheels are locked......

Brand new car can't have a Caliper problem. Unless the E-brake is engaged for 3 to 6 months with out anyone disengaging it....

Logical problem = Sounds like a user error.....

What is the e-brake? Is that the normal leg pressed brake? If so no, it wasn't engaged.

the rotor probably rusted giving the illusion that it was seized. just needed a once over with the pads to clean it off.

Not by trade but I have been working on cars for 40 years. I was also an aircraft mechanic. It is still possible for a caliper to stick and then break lose. So as I said it "could" have been. I didn't say it was.
