The Brits' takes on the G35S

This review comes from the UK Car Magazine. I don't think I've seen it here before but I hope it's not a repost. I've been reading some of the UK reviews on the 350Z, they've been much more sympathetic (and complementary) to the FM chasis than those from the states. May be those Brits aren't as wimp and 3 a* kisser as the ones we have here in the states. According the CAR magazine, the G35 will begin selling in the UK starting next year.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy readimg the article:

Granted I am not British .... but I can't figure what they mean by this statement:
the clutch and gearbox feeling agricultural at low speeds.
agricultural ?? As in feels like a farm
I guess its a slang for not so refined maybe ??

Depends on what kind of Brit we're talking about here. Oftentimes they love their V8s almost as much as we do here in the US. I know Evo is mad in love with any variant of the Vauxhall Monaro, especially the VXR and supercharged VXR500 models. Of course we're talking about the folks who can afford a gas guzzler but still, when it comes to performance cars, the Brits don't shy away from big cubes despite a few myths that they "only" enjoy lightweight sports cars.

As for the article, I had to laugh at the fact that they tested a G35S 6MT and yet the pictures are of a Journey with Sport Wheels.

my point being... they won't sell nearly as well as in the States... regardless of whether there are soem brits who like V8s (or V6's).
