So -

I am sure many of you all already saw X-Verts post of the Black Sedan with the blacked out heads and tails.

I was thinking of doing Bat's GTR style tails in full black (no smoke) to match my Black sedan...

I know this has been discussed but I was wondering if any photoshoppers out there would be able to either make Bats GTR style overlays full black (body matched) or make the pics X-Vert posted into GTR style overlays...just to get the idea before I pull the trigger...

also - opinions would be awesome and are welcome!

yea man, my opinion is that would be HOT! I was lookin do the very same thing once i got my G37.

Well.... X-vert's may be TOO dark, but Bat's 6/10 is too light for me... maybe a happy medium?

 

^^ thats what i was thinking also - maybe ill check and see if bat can do it in a 8/10 tint - hmmm

I have full 6/10 on my 04 coupe which looked awesome but it was brilliant silver - not black - plus i think the GTR cutouts are more noticeable when the film is darker

 

yea, def. good thinkin. If bat could do 8/10 GTR style, that would be pure perfection.
Darker does look better with GTR style... more contrast. Now pair that with HIKO's JDM tails with Amber signals and i'll be set for a G37! =)
Oh wait... then i'd hafta do somthing to that Chrome lip on mine... AthensBlue. Hopefully BAT or X-vert will come up with somthing nice for it... or ill get some IMPUL type spoiler.
Ahhh yes, that'll fix the rear end of the G37 for me. Can't wait to see what you do DJNOOCH

It'll look sweet! Just get a 6/10 kit and add another on top in either 3/10 or 6/10 . Discounts for 2 sets .

bat - does the opaque black match the black body color good? is it glossed/have a clear coat look?

 

anyone now why they are called gt-r style overlays? lol. The older GTS-T's and GTS's had the same lights as the GT-R's lol
