Question about purchasing a G35 S under VPP

Well before everyone jumps on me, i did do a search and didnt have too much luck. Well im in the process of buying a fully loaded G35 S with nav/tech and all. I have a really good friend that is a manager at the Nissan Plant in Canton, MS and im going to get a VPP discount through him. Well how much do you guys think on average a fully loaded G35 S is going to cost me with the VPP discount?

Also, when i go to the dealer, should i mention the VPP discount before we start talking numbers or after they are done giving me the "best" price they can give me.

Is there a way the dealer can screw me and charge me for BS because im using a VPP discount. Im asking because obviously i do not know what the invoice on that car is and i dont want them to add some BS fees to it to raise the price back up.

THanks alot guys, i cant wait to get this car. Ive been wanting one for 3 years now and its finally going to happen soon hopefully. I love all the Gs on here with the wheels and drops. Thanks alot and im coming from a proud owner of a Maxima with 210k miles. Ill still be keeping her though

You can get the details here:

http://www.insidenissan.com/

The pricing depends on your VPP plan level. No, you can't get screwed because the pricing is done based on the vehicle VIN which has the invoice pricing and discount formulas built in.

You will be working with most likely the fleet manager, so don't bother with the floor sales person.

thanks for the info, its going to be the Plan C

I was just wondering an estimate about how much i am going to be paying.

Did you get yours under the VPP discount? Im looking for the exact car you have with the same color. If you did use the discount, how much did it run you in your state if you dont mind telling me.

The exact formula is on the website, there is no negotiating. No need to estimate, the exact VPP pricing will be provided by the dealership by calling them up and giving them your VPP plan number.

I got mine using a VPP-A. In CA, the out the door total for S/Premium/nav/tech will be less than $38K if there are no dealer add-ons and if the invoice price has not gone up. If he is really a good friend, you can ask him to bump you into a VPP-A plan, however, you technically have to be a family member (in-laws are acceptable).

If you are stuck with VPP-C, call dealership for the VPP-C price, then go to another one and try negotiating to see if you can do better.

I just started a new thread yesterday regarding my experience with VPP. My dealer tried to spring a $180 documentation fee on me the day before delivery. So watch out for other fees (doc, prep, etc.) added to your order after the cash price of the vehicle (which is set by Infiniti). I suggest contacting several different dealers, telling them you have a VPP C number, and verifying ALL fees that will go on the sales contract before giving them your business. Then go with the one who will give you the straight VPP price with no adders.

I think my dealer said something to the effect of "we gotta make some money some how" with my VPP. My doc fee was $50.

Mine was purchased on VPP C and it about the same config as you are looking for (see signature). I don't have the paperwork in front of me, but I believe that it was 36660 before tax, title and doc fee ($55 in my area).
