Door lock button not responding

Driving the yesterday, and I pressed the door lock button on the driver and passenger side and the door locks do not respond. Once I turned the car off, the door lock button works ok. Anyone else run into this? I don't see why the door lock button would be locked out during movement, nor do I see any way the button can be locked out.

Were any of the doors not closed all the way? That's the only thing I can think of...

Some people like to keep their doors locked while they're driving, so it wouldn't make sense to let people outside the car unlock them using the button on the door handle.

He means the lock/unlock button on the inside door panel.
I can lock & unlock all the doors while driving...
Does yours not lock the doors while moving EVER? Or is it intermittent?

It only happened once, trying to use the inside door lock button while driving. It has not happened since and all doors were closed at the time.

I have the same issue with my 04 sedan, is this normal that you cannot unlock from the passenger side while in drive? Would like to resolve this issue before the warranty expires.

Birng it to the dealer while it's still under warranty. That should not be happening.
