Couple of questions.

I am currently leasing a 2006 G35 couple and planning on buying a G35 sedan. Couple of questions for the owners - I am around 6"3, does the sedan offer more sitting space than the coupe. What is the best model to buy - G35, G35 Journey, G35 Sport 6MT, G35 Sport, G35x AWD. I have also read a few good things about the G35x AWD, but afraid of buying it. Don't want a slower response then the RWD or FWD. Last question is - when is Infiniti planning on changing the look of the G35 sedan. I know it's like every 4 years that a company changes the body of the car.

Thank you.

"G35 Sport 6MT" is the only option if you want a manual tranny

The AWD is pretty good - it behaves as a RWD when the conditions are normal - it only goes into AWD mode when its needed. It could actually be a bit faster off the line (well due to the AWD launch !!)

The new sedan just came out for the 07 model year -- wayyy too early to start thinking about when the "look" would change -- it looks pretty nice right now, imo

the Sport model seats may be a bit tight for you... sit in the car to find out...

Thanks for the quick responses. My current car (2006 G35 coupe sport) is not made for people over 6 feet. It is the only reason I am looking into the sedan, as it may offer more space. You are right, it's better to just go test drive it.

Thanks much.

If you live in an area where it snows a few times a year, the X is probably the way to go. You could get an "S" and put snows on her.

Seats are a bit tight for your height. Go take a test drive and see for yourself.

If you are thinking of the coupe, I'd wait if you can for the G37 coming out this summer - I don't know how it compares for interior space with the current sedan but it will have the same upgraded interior and will be a better comparison.

1. I came from the coupe, there is definitely more headroom in the sedan.
2. You won't really notice any difference in power, I just opted for the Sport because of the gadgets and toys that you don't get on the AWD (sport seats, paddle shifters, wheels, etc.).
3. Don't know when the next redesign will be. Probably around 2010.

6'3" myself. Coupe was a no-go.

Got the 07 Sport... I fit just fine. I've got really wide shoulders too and I still fit perfectly.
