Aftermarket 6MT Shift *****

I haven't really searched to see if there's a threat discussing this, so don't flame me, but I'm curious if anyone has put one on. I don't really have a problem with the stock ****, however, when done tastefully, an aftermarket shift **** is something that can really make a car look good. I'm also interested to know if anyone's made a short shifter yet.

There was one that I saw a little while ago that displays the gear in lights on top....

i was going to make this thread as well, because i was thinking of shiftknob too. That one posted by canadian is actually pretty damn cool but i dont know if id go and put that. I am going to look into aftermarket ones. My friend has a nismo one from his se-r he offered me but i'm not to fond of the nismo *****.

Don't you think the stock shifter throws are pretty short ??
I probably wouldn't want a "shorter" throw ....

I almost doubted our throws were "short" until I read the manual. They say it's a short shifter, but I guess I had different expectations. When I drove the RX8 and S2000, I swear they were even shorter. I guess if the throw in the G was any shorter, I'd have a tough time knowing which gear I'm in if I'm not paying attention.

Hmm weird .... I have a friend with a RX8 and he put a new STS - said the stock wasn't short enough

I guess everyone wants an excuse to mod the shifter
