I'm confused! Did you say you work for Nissan and Infiniti. I am a Broker Specializing in Nissan and Infiniti cars, and have met several corporate reps from Nissan and from Infiniti. They are very seperate in operations. How can you possibly work for both. Most Nissan employee's are clueless when it comes to understanding Infiniti's operations and vehicle production procedures.

the other annoying thing is that the new maximas have power folding side mirrors. there are also some 'german' details i would like to see in the g. for example, our bimmer a) turns the glass in the right side mirror downwards upon engagement of the reverse gear - a really useful feature b) clicks the turn signals 3 times with a light touch of the stalk (for passing on highways) c) has excellent and fast heating seats with 5 control stops d) power folding side mirrors for those occasions you have to park in the city or in a tight spot at the mall
Every car manufacturer with more than 2 models does this... they keep some stuff in one model and out of the others, otherwise nobody would buy a particular model.
You don't have to go any farther than the different G models to know. If you want paddles you can't have AWD... if you want wood trim you can't have xyz, if you want this you can't have that.
MB has been doing this for ages too... they were offering a solar panel on the roof of the E but not on the S class, etc.
