Thumbs up G35x burnout

Is it possible to burnout in the G35x with VDC off. I didn't think so but I searched and found a post somewhere that said you could. Thanks...

Uh... Maybe a little bit of wheelspin.... but if you think about it... theres no way you can do burnouts unless your car is strapped to something.

Yes, but isn't the car RWD until you lose control, then AWD, but if VDC is off, then you don't lose control..so RWD all the time?

I thought the car was AWD when you take off for extra grip whether or not if you lose control... I think it only switches to RWD if you're going over a certain speed.

Yes. It is AWD up to 30mph for grip, then switches to RWD.

Not likely

Without a lot more power, I would say the answer is no. I used to own a Typhoon, another AWD vehicle, you couldn't do a burnout without making a LOT of power. Even 400hp wasn't enough, although there was an awesome video of an 800 hp Syclone doing one.

k guys, thanks for the replies. I would think donuts in the rain would be plausible...but I think I'll just wait till it snows...

there is an AWD fuse for the 05 models that you can pull to disable the front wheels. try searching for it in your 07
