Chips in your 07 windshield??
I usually get mine done at a small Speedy Auto Glass shop up here in Marysville. I usually have to get a repair done to one of my vehicles about every other month. Depending on the size of the chip it may still be noticeable. How big of a ding do you need to get repaired? Make sure when calling in for free insurance repair that you say it is smaller than a quarter and don't mention direct field of view. They may not cover it if chip falls into one of these groups.

At least according to Allstate...they feel it's a safety issue if ding is a quarter in size or larger and/or in the field of view. They push for windshield replacement instead. I'd rather get the free ding repair than drop the deductible $$$ for a whole windshield replacement. This has been my experience with Allstate...I'm sure other insurers may handle it differently.
i'm curious myself- does anyone know how much a to actually get the windshield replaced? i got dings all over the place, one ding branched out to a long crack and just this morning i get nailed by something heavy which left a crater right on impact

LOL. Was it really a golfball? Looks like it....
Any of you guys tried that "lens doctor" cr@p they advertise on late night tv? Maybe that'll reduce the chip glare...
