07 Intelligent Key crashing my cell phones?

I have the car for a month now. Within a month, 2 of my cell phones (different brands and mobile providers) crashed to a point where the mobile provider had to re-install the software on the phones. I know there is a problem where the cell phone erases the key info. Now I'm thinking that the key may be screwing up my cell phones. I usually have my key in my pants left pocket, and my cell phone on my belt on the right. Anyone else with this problem?

Maybe your key is fighting back...

I've had several phones near/around my keys since I picked up my car in late December, and none of them have any issues that I can tell.

I hope it's just a coincidence.

I picked up my 2007 G35x a week ago. On delivery, my dealer told me to always keep the intelligent key at least 1 inch from my cell phone or it could erase info on the phone. He said that Infiniti is working on it and they expect to have new intelligent keys available in the Fall. They will contact owners and you will have to bring the car in for programming/matching.

I keep my key in my right pocket and phone in my left and have had no problems.

I hope this helps.

This is a known issue - been in the press. Keep your key away from your phone. Infiniti will be issuing replacements according to the report I read...

my Motorola Q has been freaking out lately. I was thinking it could just be windows mobile but I have accidentally caught myself holding both phone and key in the same hand/pocket 5 or 6 times lately.

I have a Nokia 6265 and a Samsung D807. Both crashed within a few weeks.

It might be your cell phone crashing it self.
