ever wonder what does an 07 ip w/black roof looks like? look no further!
a month ago i posted my car has been a minor incident relating to a metal sheet fell right onto my car. nothing major, a few deep scratches here and there.
notice anything different?
heres a breakdown of what was done to it,
17% tint all around except the front windshield
black roof
black out grille, i sand this myself, what a pita. took me half a day to remove all the chrome off.
black headlight, i did this myself a while back
debage the infiniti letter
G35DRIVER stickers
paint match the trunk chrome piece, i also sanded this myself. if anyone ever
think about doing it heres the breakdown of how i went ahead n did this.
this piece is the most frustrating thing i'd ever sanded in my life! not just that its painted chrome, it has a thick layer of cooper underneath it! what was infiniti thinkin? i had a sander, thankgod, i started out with 150 grit, no luck. 80 grit a lil luck, then decided to do 36 grit
, thats as close as it gets to grinding. took me total of 2 days to finally get everything off and sanded down smoothly to paint.
imo infiniti should have use this method on the front grille!
ill take some more pics when i have time, enjoy!
edit: also i would like to thank a handful of people on here that have done the black roof. without your pictures i would have never gotten the idea.

u did all that before u even got ur plate??? can we trade headlights and grill~~ im in los angeles, haha btw, dark front window tint might not be a good idea for los angeles drivers... stupid pigs... IMO, it looks really nice but from far away it kinda looks like scion tc... sorry
