Fujita intake installed...Impressions.
Well friday i received my intake and installed it. After 3 days of driving with it here are my impressions. For starters it def looks mean when you open the hood. Fujita actually uses some nice quality parts such as there clamps. The install itself was very easy, took me about 30 min tops for the total process. They give you great step by step directions. I didnt use them because its pretty self explanatory, but if you have never put an intake on before they would be very helpfull.
As for the driving with it, the sound isnt as loud or as deep as my injen cai i had on my coupe. IMO nothing compares to the sound of a CAI. For the car though, the sound is actually more fitting then if it were much louder. The sound is very throaty at around 3500-4500k, gives off a nice growl but not intrusive one bit. At WOT it gives off a nice scream but still not intrusive. Me personally I would still prefer the louder deeper CAI sound, but for some like I stated above, they may find this much more fitting for the kind of car the G sedan is. As far as power goes, I really feel any gains (or losses). There is a slight improvement at high rpms in response, but the car feels pretty much the same to me. Low end torque is really unfected as well. I remember someone else saying that they lost low end and gained in high. At first I felt that way too because I had the idea in my head that I would. After 2 days of driving the car, I drove another 6mt with stock setup, just to feel the low end difference ( i didnt get on the car past 4500k rpms) and its not noticibly different at all.
All in all I'm very happy with the setup, everyone says that it sounds great so far. If anyones in the NY area, brooklyn to be exact feel free to hit me up and ill let you hear it.
