I have aftermarket rims and no TPMS sensors and my light only comes on after an hour of driving anything up to that point and the light never comes on, when the light does come on all I have to do is restart the car and it is off again

I HAVE THE SOLUTION BECAUSE I AM A F*ING GENIUS! all you have to do is uninstall all your sensors then open your trunk pull out that spare donut tire, then dismount it half way off the rim then put all 4 sensors inside and remount on to the donut rim and re inflate, then stick it back in your trunk. BAMM! DONE! wut up HIGH FIVE! car still reads all is normal! then when winter rolls around just put your stock wheels back on no need to ever mess around with it again! now take into this consideration! you will never be able to use your spare donut! all though take into consideration this!

57.00 - 119.00* there abouts you can join AAA (triple A) and get 3 free tows! so if u do have a flat your covered and that money you spent doesn't have to be spent on new sensors or programming them! SO DON'T BUY EXTRA SENSORS OR SWAP THEM BACK AND FORTH JUST GET AAA and throw them in your spare tire!

Classic AAA is 57.00
PLUS AAA is 91.00
Premier AAA is 119.00

This won't work. The sensors have to be rotating with the wheel mounted on the car for them to work. I was testing out aftermarket tires with my stock wheels, tires and senors sitting inside my car fully inflated and the warning light came on.

For $400+ I'll live with the light on for 8 months out of the year...

Thank you for correcting me! i really wish it would have worked! so pretty much just swap them over to your new wheels and then back on too stock ones for the winter if necessary?

If I had to use snow tires, I would just leave the sensors on summer tires since they are on the car longer.

Even if someone has sensors on both tires sets, a dealer has to pair each set to the car everytime they are swapped. I can live with the light for a couple of months out of the year.
